Gayndah Museum is a living display of early life in rural Queensland. Machinery played an important role in those early days ... just as it does now ... and we like to show visitors what it was like to work with that machinery

To achieve that goal the Gayndah Museum has regular steam days when the fires are lit and the machinery comes to life.

Steam days at the Gayndah Museum for 2025 & 2026 will be held on the 1st Sunday of the following Months:

Opening hours are from 9am to 4pm every day of the year except Good Friday and Christmas Day.
